The Wicomico County Education Association is a non-profit organization that represents the more than 1,200 educators in Wicomico County.
Every year, WCEA’s negotiation teams work with the Board of Education to discuss salary, benefits, working conditions, classroom discipline, professional development, student achievement, and a myriad of other education and work-related topics.
The Wicomico Education Association dedicates itself to advancing quality public education based on excellence in teaching, setting high student expectations, and giving all students the opportunity to learn while fostering a positive relationship among all of the stakeholders.
Acting as a voice for educator rights, WCEA seeks to unify the education profession by improving professional development opportunities, the classroom environment, and working conditions for teachers. The result is greater educational opportunities for every student.
